All undergraduate solar car team based out of the University of Waterloo. The Midnight Sun Solar Car team was founded in 1988 and has since produced 12 vehicles (10 challengers, 2 cruisers). They built challenger-class vehicles until Midnight Sun X in 2011, and after a brief hiatus entered the cruiser-class with Midnight Sun XI in 2016. Their most recent car is Midnight Sun XII (ASC 2018, FSGP 2019) and are producing Midnight Sun XV, a two-seater for ASC 2024.
